his girlfriend, jo, decided to make george breakfast.  instead of going for the basic cheesey chips and beans combo she decided to submerge our expectations by making a cheesey chip submarine in a sea of beans.  this is some high level stuff and we all should feel ashamed.

vegetable curry soup was the meal of the day.  one slight issue, there was no croutons in the household.  to solve this issue smittens decided to bung in some potato tots to soak up the soupy goodness.  while not comparable to croutons in the slightest (potato in soup isn’t brilliant and they go very soggy, very quickly) it was a good cover up and really finished off the dish.

american take on an english classic.  kiev, two hash browns, tater tots, mozzarella sticks and peas.  he would have gotten beans but the shop is 5 minutes walk away and that’d be wasted calories.   the kiev was poor compared to it’s uk compatriot and cost double the price.  probably don’t bother leaving england if you want a kiev.

Peter is from Mexico so this is his first entry towards Kids Dinners.  It’s a chicken burger jumbalaya. He couldn’t be fucked to buy buns or chicken, so what he’s done is make the bread out of burgers and the chicken out of chicken nuggets and thrown some onion rings in too. so basically, from top down it’s Burger>3 Onion rings>6 nuggets>4 Onion rings>A Burger. I hope you like this and it makes the grade. He added that everything was from Aldi so the combined price was around 15 pence (or 30,000 pesos).

basic easter lunch for someone single and approaching 30. Watery spaghetti hoops and pale waffles. 

smittens is still sticking with the chip.  nothing beats a good solid chip shop chip covered in mushy peas.  john isn’t answering his phone so we’ll go with fries because he eats a lot of them.

if you are lucky we will send you ratings of the chips (fries) from the la galaxy.

we will only try iguana-on-a-stick if we travel to a culture who require us to do so.  chances are quite slim.

so, after two of us moving away to america we have now decided to renew kids dinners, however now it will be international.  get pumped, send us your own and keep this blog going as it’s pretty much the only hobby any of us will be any good at.

smittens and george wanted breakfast on limited funds.  they decided and the decision of making a breakfast sandwich.  1 egg, 2 bacon, 2 hash browns and 3 toast.  sauce is optional.  the birth of the capstone sandwich.  it was very nice.
